Companion OS™

A steady presence.
For when life gets hard.

Companion OS™ is an AI tool that teaches coping skills, helps you through difficult moments, and keeps you company. It is not therapy. It is not a diagnosis. It is something to try when you need a place to start.

Request access

If you're trying to get through something difficult. And the usual ways don't work anymore.

This is for the parts of life that don't come with instructions. The decisions you keep circling. The mornings that feel too heavy. The seasons that ask more than you knew how to give. You don't need a label to be welcome here. A few examples of who finds it useful:

Companion OS does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace professional help. It teaches skills and keeps you company.

No instructions needed. Just say what you need.

1

Register

Use your invite code to create an account. Takes two minutes. Pilot capacity is small, so codes go out one by one to people who request access below.

2

Help us measure if it works

Four short questions. In English, Finnish, or Estonian. Optional. More below.

3

Tell Companion what is happening

In English, Finnish, or Estonian. In any form. A sentence is enough.

4

Work through it together

One step at a time. At your pace. No judgment.

You do not need to know what mode you need. Just say what you feel.

Companion listens and responds in the way that fits the moment. Here are some examples of what that looks like.

I cannot start anything. I have been sitting here for an hour.

Focus Mode. Breaks the first step into something small enough to actually do

I am overwhelmed and I cannot breathe.

Calm Mode. Slows things down, grounds you in the present moment

I keep going in circles with this decision.

Decision Mode. Helps you see the options clearly and find your own answer

I need to understand this article but nothing is going in.

Study Mode. Breaks the content into the smallest useful pieces

I am having a craving and I do not know what to do.

Steady Mode. Helps you wait it out. The feeling always passes

Someone keeps crossing my limits and I do not know how to say stop.

Boundary Mode. Helps you name the limit and find the words

These are 6 of 18 modes. The full list: Calm, Mindfulness, Steady, Reality Check, Focus, Planning, Decision, Reflection, Boundary, Daily Companion, Study, Read, Listen, Express, Feedback, Habit and Aim, Relationship, and Help.

Four questions. At the start and after four weeks.

These questions are not about scoring you. They are about understanding whether the tool actually makes a difference in daily life. Not just whether it feels nice to use.

Each question is rated 1 to 5, from Rarely to Almost always.

  1. In the past week, I felt able to handle difficult moments in my day.
  2. I notice when my stress or emotions are building up before they become overwhelming.
  3. When I feel stuck or overwhelmed, I have something I can try that helps.
  4. I have been able to get through my daily tasks and responsibilities.

The same four questions appear again at the four-week mark, with one more added: Overall, I feel more steady and grounded in my daily life than I did a month ago. Your answers are anonymous and go directly into shaping the next version of Companion OS.

Four weeks. A small group. A real conversation at the end.

Duration

Four weeks of access. One week grace period after. No rush.

Group size

Small because I am one person. I want to read every message, follow up with each tester during the four weeks, and have a real conversation at the end. If the pilot is full, you can still reach out. I will let you know what is possible.

What you get

Your feedback shapes what comes next.

At the end

I will reach out personally. I want to hear what worked, what did not, and what you wish Companion had known about you from the start.

What Companion OS collects. And what it never does.

What we collect. With your consent.

  • Your messages, to have a conversation
  • Anonymous usage data, to understand what helps
  • Survey responses, to measure real impact

What we never do

  • Never diagnose or prescribe anything
  • Never share your data with third parties
  • Never store data without your explicit consent
  • Never use your data to train AI models

Want to verify this yourself? The code is open source. Read the README on GitHub →

Tell me a little about you.

No long forms. Just your name, email, and what brings you here. I read every message myself.

By submitting you agree to the Privacy Notice. Your information is never shared with third parties.

You already work with people who need this.

If you work with people in vulnerable situations, Companion OS can be part of what you offer them. That includes social services, rehabilitation, mental health support, education, and corrections. Organizations pay per seat. The people you serve get free access.

If your context isn't on this list and the pattern still fits, get in touch. The architecture and safety approach transfer. The rest is built for your context.
